My whippet Lily has had 3 bad cuts recently and I decided she needed a jacket to protect her. I was advised to purchase the wax coat with mesh (she detests any coat and brushes against furniture to get it off!), but the coat has been great on walks and the service from this company excellent. Just perfect, great fit & the strap has fastening clips much better than velcro, we stay in the western Highlands it can be very wet & windy, my Holly is so cosy & dry in her new coat. Finn is only 6 months old at the moment so there is room in the coat for him to grow an inch or two more. He hates the rain so we have already used it even though I had intended it for winter. It fits well and is very warm.

I have a rescue, crossbred dog and all coats i looked at just didn’t fit his measurements. I reached out to Mike to ask his advice and he was very helpful. I unfortunately managed to order the wrong size lol, yet Mike reassured I could return and he advised 2 sizes up……it fits perfectly. Freddie is now all set for winter! The quality and fit are great and also at a great price. Would definitely recommend :)

This coat fits really well and is very well made. Initially I ordered a Large. His back is 24 inches and it was on the small side. Mike replaced with an extra large which is just right. Bought with a cool lining to protect him from gashing himself and allow him to run in it in the summer. Strong outer material will not tear easily like so many other coats.

I was totally delighted with these coats. To be honest it really does look as if they were made especially for each of my whippets, a bespoke purchase. I say this because the quality of workmanship is 100% the fit is totally perfect, I love the fact that they curve to follow the whippets curves, I love the fact that it is a proper catch, not Velcro, to fasten the coat as it means that I can set the fit as perfect for every wearing. To be honest I am loath to take them out where the coats will become soiled so at the moment they only wear them when really cold, but not wet!
The only way to get over this I know is to buy another two, a best and second best coat...
I guess it will be no surprise to hear that I cannot recommend these coats more highly, quality 100% assured.
One of my whippets is 14 kilo the other 16 kilo and size large (21-24") as you can see for perfect for each of my two dogs.

Warm and snuggly!
I ordered a lighter coat for the less wintry days to come but loved it so much that I got a Starbright coat for next Winter which has come in handy now too. Although more money well worth the extra. Warm and snuggly it has seem him through the worst weather so far and love the all round safety reflective edging. He looks great and no one else has one like it around here. They should do though. Tip- I realised that although he measured at the last limit of the medium at 28 in the first coat and it does fit it could have been bit bigger. He is better in the Winter coat as a large with the straps adjusted down. Well made, extremely good service and continual updates as to what was happening via e-mail with processing and delivery. No Velcro!
Very pleased. We ordered the large size for one of our whippets and the extra large for the other. The coats cover them well are comfortable and warm. We particularly like the clasp at the side of the each coat and the fact that the front part over the chest area is stitched and therefore no Velcro anywhere on the coats. Good value. (20/12/2015)

Waxed whippet coat review
I have just ordered my whippet Rubix's 6th coat from yourselves, yes i have tried off the shelf products but they are ill fitting so i searched the net 4 years ago found a british compay & wouldn't go anywhere else now. the quality & service is fantastic, Rubix's new winter coat will be here in a few days & he will be the envy of his " doggy friends " this winter.
