We use D2W, a special additive in our poop bags. This converts the plastic into an oxo-biodegradable plastic. This means that, in the presence of oxygen, these bags will biodegrade leaving only biomass, CO2, and water. Our bags can go to landfill but are not designed to degrade without the use of oxygen.
