Seasonal Whippet Fleece / Greyhound Fleece
These fleece sighthound coats are made from double-thickness soft polyester 'burnt-orange' fleece making them perfect for the autumn/Halloween season. Keep your hound warm at night or when out and about on a dry chilly day.
The coat has cotton tape ties that go under the tummy and which tie up on the back, making the coat fully adjustable for different size girths so it is easy to choose the correct size coat. The only measurement you need to take is from the base of the neck (between the shoulder blades) to the base of the tail - take this measurement in inches and choose this size coat. The absolute length of the coat laid flat will be longer than the coat size you choose as this will allow for the chest area and the full polo neck.
For guidance, the average female greyhound is a size 26", the average male greyhound is 28" and the larger boy greyhounds are 30". Saluki-X lurchers tend to be size 22"-24" but can be more difficult to size as they are so slender so careful measurement is required. Other lurchers will depend on the cross-breed so please measure the dog as carefully as possible. Whippets will, of course, be the smaller sizes.
Coats are washable at 30 degrees Centigrade using mild detergent, it's recommended not to use fabric conditioner.
