A quality dog coat that has a padded chest piece that protects your dog's belly from the cold and wet weather outside. The coat slips over the head then the chest protector is passed between the front legs of the dog and fastened over the back with 2" Velcro for a super secure fit. This coat has an elastic gusset on the neck to allow for extra movement and comfort (this can be seen in some of the pictures above).
Removable Lining
This dog coat has a thick polar fleece lining that can be removed if the weather is warmer. The padded fleece is very thick and is attached to the outer shell by way of Velcro - very easy to remove and re-insert.
Reflective Dog Coat
The silver band on the fastening strap runs all the way around the dogs waist when the coat is on and is made of a super reflective material. Additional to this is a reflective stitch running all the way around the edge of the coat. Please have a look at our pictures taken at night and you will appreciate just how effective this is. Using a torch, when your dog is wearing this coat, he/she will be seen from afar and if you walk your dog anywhere near a road during dark nights this coat will not only keep your beloved pet warm and dry but also a lot safer!

This coat is well made and is definitely waterproof. The only issue is that the elastic strips for the back legs rub Mabel's skin raw, she has very thin fur. Don't know if I can modify this coat but I'll have a go.

This is a light but warm duo -undercoat and top coat which is easy to get on and quite a generous size. My ageing lab is sturdy (fat) and its difficult to fit a coat on her properly. But the wide velcro fitting covers her snugly. Lovely!

The elastic on the neck was a bit tight for my boy, but he is a little bit chubby!
However it fits perfectly.
The only downside is that he won't need tobe towel dried!

I can’t praise this coat enough! Having owned Staffordshire Bull Terriers for over 40 years I know how difficult it is to get a coat for them that fits their chests and waistlines. The elasticated piece on the neck gives a nice expandable fit and the Velcro fastenings make it adjustable around their bodies. Another fantastic feature are the two layers which enable me to mix and match to our British weather. They are easy to separate and reattach as needed. The materials used are first class and, in short, the best coat I’ve ever purchased. My dog absolutely loves it as it keeps him warm and dry.

Very thick and cosy when both layers together, but does slip from side to side as we don't use the leg straps - I'm not sure how anyone with a big dog manages to get their dogs legs in any straps like that without a struggle or stress!
Very easy to put on though when not using leg straps, and easy to remove and replace the inner section. My only other criticism is the outer rain coat could do with a soft feel lining to make it very slightly warmer and softer against fur for general use to go with the benefit of the thick inner for very cold days.
