Why your greyhound needs a coat

Greyhounds, like whippets, lurchers, Italian greyhounds and other sight-hound breeds are the type of dogs that really do benefit with the protection from the rain and the added warmth provided by a quality greyhound coat. Greyhounds with their thin fur and low body fat are not as efficient at retaining their body heat compared to most other breeds of dogs that have thick fur and a larger percentage of body fat.
